Hi, thanks for visiting my blog! My name is Maggie, and I am a lifelong Jersey girl with a passion for music. I am a recent graduate of Rutgers University where I was a member of RLC-WVPH 90.3 The Core, serving as the radio DJ for music show “Flower In My Shoe,” and co-host of talk show “Deep Roots,” as well as the Rock Music Director and Operations Administrator for the station (you also can occasionally still hear me grace the airwaves as a DJ, thanks to The Core’s wonderful community aspect). I was also a member of Rutgers PRSSA and served as an Assistant Account Manager for Rutgers ScarletPR. My career goals lie in public relations and the music industry! I am currently a street marketing representative for Synnernation, a division of The Syndicate in Weehawken, NJ, where I have had the great opportunity to execute street campaigns for some awesome artists, as well as a Live Events Volunteer with Headcount, registering voters at concerts. Most importantly, music is what makes me happy. My favorite hobby is collecting vinyl records, and I can be found most weekends at a concert, whether it’s a stadium show or a local band in a basement. This blog is meant to serve as a portfolio for myself and the work that I am most proud of, as well as occasionally a space for me to share my love for music and talk about the topics that I feel strongly about.
